Sweetie Pie Fischbach

Sweetie has always been known for her high energy, well-behaved, friendly demeanor.  Always wanting to play and try anything new, until the spring before she turned 14 years old.  As is common with dogs in their advanced stages of life, she was unexpectedly diagnosed with acute kidney disease, deteriorating rapidly.  This prompted her “mom” to prepare to make the most difficult decision since bringing Sweetie into the family.  Having first decided to not continue a new flea and tick medication the vet had her on, her mom also started bringing Sweetie outside to create lasting, tangible memories.  The first time Sweetie went out to paint, her old, happy self-returned quickly and it was a definite sign that there was plenty of life left in the withering shell of a pup.  Sweetie began having painting days whenever she seemed sad or lethargic, growing stronger and happier every time.  Sweetie is now over 15 years old, having defied all odds and back to her old self with the kidney numbers almost back down to normal, it is time to embark on a new chapter of her life.  Sweeties’ Pup-Art Studio will be a safe space for all humans to bring their fur babies of all ages and stages of life to create lasting memories along with artwork that will last forever.  We encourage everyone to bring their dogs to Unleash their inner pup-casso!
